Time Frame filter in Reports

Simply I'd like to ask is it possible to add Time Frame filter, exact which is in Timelog section, to Reports.

Monthly we need to report how many hours each of my teammates spent on different tasks. So this is exact data which is in Timelog. It is not only reporting of spending time but this data is used for invoincing. To invoice we need more details about tasks, which are in custom fields as well. In fact we have everything in Reports - all necessary custom fields, resources, time spent and many more except Time Frame which is only in Timelog :)

It means that we need to export 2 reports from Wrike, first from Timelog with a specific Time Frame  and second from Reports, and connect in Excel these data together follow Task Title.

Hi everyone, I wanted to let you know that we released Timelog Reports this week! So you can create a Report which shows time tracking data for a specific time frame and by user/task. To create a Timelog Report

  1. Click on the Reports tab.
  2. Select "New Report from Scratch".
  3. Choose "Timelog".
  4. Select which Folders/Projects you would like to pull data from.
  5. Click "Date" and then "Time frame" and select the dates you would like to report on.
  6. Then click "Save & View".

Let me know if this helps in your cases!

Would it be possible to add a filter that would show jobs completed - or filter them by status? This way I could see all the past weeks jobs that we completed and could then invoice for those completed jobs. We only invoice for completed work.

Hi Leslie, good idea! Your suggestion has been passed to our Product Team 👍

As a workaround solution, for now, you can create a 'Completed' Folder in your Folder tree, and tag this Folder on tasks that are completed. Then, when you build the Timelog Report in Reports, you can choose this 'Completed' Folder as the source data and the Timelog Report data will show for these completed tasks you've tagged.

I know it's not as easy as having the filter there and it involves some manual tagging, but it might be an option you could use for now.

Thanks for your input on this request, if there are any updates I'll post back here 👍

Once a week (on thursday) I make a report to see which tasks are completed in the last week (from thursday till wednesday), but I can only filter on this week or last week, not on both. It would be very helpful to be able to check multiple options where you can filter on date (e.g. completed date)

Hi Martine, thanks for your post here. I'm wondering if selecting 'time frame' in Report filter would be helpful for you here. This way you could select a start and end date of when you want the project to run, e.g Thursday to Wednesday.

Please let me know if I've misunderstood your feedback in any way! Looking forward to your reply 👍

Hello Stephan, It is a workaround. But it means that I have to change the dates all the time. It would like to view the report just in one click.

Having an option to select multiple options within any of the date filters, Due, Start, Last Modified, tasks to do, etc would be very helpful.  I am trying to create a report similar to Martine's post where I want to look at last week and 7 days ahead.

It would be extremely helpfull if loading custom time frame report for one person (or many) would not take almost 30 seconds when I do it first time in the session. I honestly see no good reason for it taking this long when I'm only selecting one random day in the past week. What is even more baffling is when I select "yesterday", it works instantly, but selecting the same date via custom time frame takes forever to load.
