How to integrate confluence with wrike
We want to integrate wrike with confluence (from atlassian.com), but we cannot find how. Can you advise?
We'd like to use confluence as knowledge base, to store some research task's content. We find the backlogged wrike task is not as practical or user friendly as confluence. So we want to combine the two strengths.
Hi Jin! Confluence has its own REST API, so it should be possible to build some kind of integration, which will use Wrike's REST API to modify Wrike tasks based on the change on Confluence side (if the page with research doc gets updated in Confluence, the Wrike task is automatically created / modified to display the changes, for instance).
By the way, have you considered using the existing Wrike-JIRA sync? As JIRA is an Atlassian product, it might be easy to integrate with Confluence (however, a JIRA account would be required as the 'intermediary' product). There are some Atlassian resources dedicated to this topic (Use JIRA applications and Confluence together + Integrating JIRA and Confluence), which may be worth checking!
Hi! We just released an integration of Wrike and Confluence Cloud - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/1217666. Please try it and share your feedback.
Note from Wrike Team: This is an external integration, not officially supported by Wrike. Please address questions regarding compatibility, support, and pricing to the developer, Bilith.
Nice to see the add-on, but any plans to add timeline support as well as links?
Let's face it - Gantt charts may be considers passé, but people love looking at them anyway. :)
Thanks for the suggested 3rd party app -- we will try and leave some feedback for other wrike users here if they want to know our thoughts before maybe considering it too.
This is great! Hoping Confluence and Wrike can do more together soon!
Apologies -- The tasks below are all completed, so they show up in the Confluence screenshot as strikethrough ;)
The 3rd-Party Integration (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/1217666) is good for seeing Wrike in Confluence. If you want to see Confluence in Wrike, it isn't possible with this app.
I use Zapier to trigger some things from Confluence -- mainly notifications when pages are changes and such. Unless you have the wrike task id, there isn't much you can do to make changes to tasks based on confluence edits tho. So, Zapier is a bit of a dead end becasue Wrike hasn't updated their integration in years.
Thank you Noel!
I was hoping to load Wrike's timeline/gantt chart as a macro into Confluence.
Do you think that would be possible? Does Wrike accept requests like that?
Thank you,
