Enabling Wrike and ShareFile Integration

Table 17. Availability - Legacy plans

Overview

Account owners and admins can set up the integration for Wrike and ShareFile. All users in the account can then use it once the integration is enabled.

With the Wrike and ShareFile integration, you can add documents from ShareFile to Wrike tasks, folders, and projects and collaborate on them with your colleagues. Additionally, you can add new and final versions of files from Wrike to ShareFile.

Note

Wrike works only with Citrix ShareFile cloud-based solution. On-premise solution is not supported.

Setting up the integration

To set up the integration, you must be an administrator on both your Wrike and ShareFile accounts.

Important

Before setting up an integration, ensure that your Wrike account has the Cloud Content Connector available. You can find it on our Apps & Integrations page.

  1. Go to https://api.sharefile.com/

  2. Click Log In 1 in the upper-right hand corner and log in with your ShareFile account administrator credentials

  3. Click Get an API Key 2

Disconnecting or deleting the integration

Account owners and admins have two options if they want to discontinue the integration with ShareFile.

  • Disconnect the integration: All Citrix ShareFile files will stay in your tasks and projects, but nobody will be able to open or preview them. To access the files again, you will need to reconnect to Citrix ShareFile.

  • Delete the integration: Users won’t be able to open any Citrix ShareFile files currently attached to tasks or projects in your account, even if you add Citrix ShareFile as a connection again. You can’t undo this action.

To disconnect or delete the integration:

  1. Click on your profile picture in the upper right-hand corner of your Wrike workspace

  2. Select Apps & Integrations

  3. Open the Cloud Content Connector card and switch to the Connections tab

  4. Select the ShareFile integration from the list

  5. In the window that opens, select Disconnect 1 or Delete 2

  6. Next, confirm your actions by clicking Disconnect 3 or Delete in the pop-up that appears
