What's New in Wrike - May 2024
Our May edition of What's New in Wrike covers updates to New Dashboards, Request forms, and Item view!
Available for all users except for collaborators on all paid plans.
We’ve added the Files widget to New Dashboards, which allows you to display specific file types in your dashboards, including images, documents, videos, and audio files, among other options.
Additionally, it is possible to filter files by their approval status. Users can also use other details linked to the approval as filters, such as approvers, date of creation, and authors, among several additional options.
Overall, the widget covers the same capabilities as the Files view.
Also, we have introduced new options for custom table widgets. Similar to what we have available in the Table view, you can now:
Mass Edit: Make changes to multiple tasks at once directly from your dashboard.
Export to Excel: Quickly export your task lists to Excel for additional analysis or reporting.
Drag-Fill Values: Copy values from one cell to another by dragging.
Create New Items: Add new tasks directly from the dashboard.
When creating a new item in a widget, it will be placed in the first data source of the widget.
The options to mass edit, export to Excel, drag and drop values, and add new items are available in Full Screen view for table widgets and in drill-down views for charts.
Available from Team and higher plans for space admins.
Now, statuses from Space workflows are accessible in your Space requests forms. This includes the main Space of the form - the Space where the form belongs - as well as additional Spaces added to the form.
In order to use other Spaces workflows, first you need to select them in the Other spaces option of the request form builder.
Available to all users except collaborators on Business and higher plans.
We have expanded the capabilities of converting tasks to projects and vice-versa and now users can also convert Blueprints to other item types.
Similarly as with the other item types, you need to open the relevant blueprint, click on the three-dot menu located at the top right corner of the item view, and then select the option Change item type.
