Workload Visualization in Workload Chart and Resources tab using custom time frame

I would like the Workload chart and the Resources tab to allow me to select a custom date range that shows a single column that summarizes team workload for that range. This would allow me to plan for the entire year of work ahead (in our case school fiscal year of July 1 - July 1) and see a summary of workload for the year by person. This would also make the Booked Effort feature more valuable for us as it wouldn't be shown arbitrarily divided equally between days, weeks, or months, but would be summarized in full within that single time frame.
