Scroll Starred and non-Starred Items Independently on Left Pane

Our list of folders and projects are growing. It would be very nice to keep the starred items fixed in the left pane while scrolling through the other non-starred folders below. Basically, it would be helpful to have independent scrolling panes with a movable horizontal divider so that I can scroll the starred items or the other items independently. This feature is available in Gmail and, I believe, Outlook. Currently, I do a lot of scrolling up and down through the day looking for things.
