Integration of Project Information into Tasks
Hey,
when we have a project, we have several tasks that we assign to single persons. We are using mainly the "workload" view to check who is working on which task/project and who has a free slot.
However, we have some huge problems with the current separation of the tasks and projects in this view. The project information (including custom fields) are -- of course -- very important for every single task. But when you click on a task in the workload view, you only see a popup with task information. For displaying the corresponding project information you need three clicks (and 2 reloads) in order to get to them:
- 1st click: click on the project in the task view--> set a filter on the left menu
- 2nd click: click on list view (reload)
- 3rd click: click on the project button (reload)
Now you are in a totally different view (list) than before.
It would be very helpful, if the overall project information could be merged into the popup window when clicking on a task in the workload view. It would also help us, if there was an additional section/tab/menu in the task view that allows to switch to the project details quickly without a reload.
Kind regards
Marco
How does this not have more votes??
When my team has to toggle between a task (which is where the action steps are) and the project (which is where the project details are), it's very time consuming. I wish we could see both at the same time in one window. Today, we open two windows and have to manually open the project via the permalink - then view the two side-by-side in 2 browser windows.
Thank you for adding your support here Laura Walz 😊
