Convert Checkbox list items to subtasks

I'm attempting to roll out a simplified project plan when a smaller team is performing the work. Many of our standard tasks are well-known, and performed in parallel by a single individual. I'd still like to document these inside of a task using a checkbox list. However, there will be times when these need to be separated out, assigned and tracked. So...

I'd like to see an option to have checkbox list items convert to subtasks of the task they reside in.
