Versioning Videos Attached from Youtube

We love that we're able to attach videos from youtube to proof (it helps us keep our memory usage manageable), but it would be great if Wrike supported versioning those videos, like it does with files attached from the computer. The fact that we can't version them means we need a separate attachment workflow for videos vs. other files, which creates confusion and errors.

Hi Rosalind, thanks for the feedback on this. For now, the best approach here is to have a file naming convention internally.

For example:

Step1 - Upload Video as, for example, Draft A
Step2 - Relevant team make suggestions and improvements using Proofing and Approvals.
Step3 - The video editing team makes suggested edits and upload the new video as Draft B (they can also delete Draft A, if needed at this point)

And so on..

It's a manual practice I admit, but it may work for your team for now.

Thanks again for the suggestion, I can see it's already picking up some votes 🙌

Thanks Stephen, that is the process we're using now. Hopefully full versioning will be supported one day, though!

This would be extremely helpful for our team as well! We do the workaround currently but this would streamline things and make file comparison much simpler.
