Ability to change Project Status from Table view
Note from Wrike Team: Check out Ability to edit custom field values directly from Reports to vote for the original request.
It would be nice to be able to edit Project Status from the Table view, rather than having to open the project and select from a drop down there. Just the same functionality as for a dropdown custom field.
Hey Gregg, if you double click on the cell in Table view, it should give you the option to change the status of the task. Hope that helps!
That works for Tasks, but not for Projects for some reason.
Ahhh, gotcha. I misread, I now see what you're talking about. Sorry I couldn't help!
Hi guys, some nice advice here Sage, for Project/Folders it works a little bit differently.
The Folder and Projects are in Table view for grouping the tasks in a tidy way and for reference. It's a good idea to have their status accessible from there.
You might also be interested in voting for Tatevik's post on the same feature. I'll change this to a duplicate post and direct other members who are interested in this there to keep all feedback in the one place 👍
Thanks Stephen. I'll note that this is a very slightly different feature, since "Status" isn't a custom field, but I'd hope that if one feature is incorporated the other can be as well.
You know what Gregg, you're totally right! Similar ideas, but functionalities will work differently from our developers point of view. I've removed the Duplicate tag here - they should be separate requests.
Thanks for coming back to me on that 👍
I hoped this would have more upvotes and comments; I find it annoying that I can't see and edit the project status unless I click on info or view the table list of everything in that project's enclosing folder.
I want it to have a line within the project view, just like a task that allows me to adjust the due date and start date, status, assignee, etc., without having to click the info button to see those things and adjust them.
Nicole S If you're in Table View use the Ellipses (three dots) menu and choose Show Parent Row
