Simplifying Work with Automation Rules 🚀

One of our favorite ways to save time in Wrike is by using Automation Rules to streamline our marketing request process. Here’s how we use them:

  • Automatic status updates: When a task is moved to “In Progress,” Wrike automatically notifies the requester that their brief is being worked on.

  • Reminders for pending feedback: If a task stays in “Waiting for Feedback” for 3 days, an automation sends a reminder to the Brand Manager to review and respond.

  • Smart task sorting: When a request comes in through our Request Form, Wrike automatically tags it with the brand and moves it into the correct folder for that brand’s projects.

These simple automations have reduced repetitive admin work and helped our team focus on creative tasks instead of chasing updates.

Tip: Start small—set up one rule for automatic notifications and build from there. It’s amazing how much time you’ll save.
