New Changes to Our "Contributor of the Month" Initiative! 🥇
Hello Wrike Community! 🙋🏻♀️
We're excited to share some updates to our "Contributor of the Month" initiative! Since launching this experiment in June 2024, the program has recognized 4 outstanding contributors whose efforts have significantly enriched our Community 🏆
We believe every contribution matters and want to ensure everyone has a fair chance to be recognized for their efforts. Starting next month, we’re introducing a milestone-based system. Here's how it works:
- 🤝 Gain Contributor Points: Each helpful act—whether it's assisting peers, sharing best practices, participating in Beta programs, or engaging with different user groups—earns you points. Remember, more insightful and thorough contributions earn higher points!
- 🎯 Achieve the Milestone: Contributors who meet our monthly milestone will qualify for a prize entry! Our internal point system scores contributions from 1 to 5, with a strong emphasis on the quality of the answer, as well as the time and effort invested.
- 🎁 Lucky Draw: Once you hit the milestone, you’ll be automatically entered into a randomized drawing. While all contributors will be recognized for their efforts, one lucky winner will be selected for our prize.
We believe these changes will give more contributors a chance to be recognized and celebrated 🥳 By diversifying our process, we aim to highlight the unique contributions that enrich our Community each month.

Are you planning to make the Contributor Points visible, maybe in Wrike Stars?

Not at the moment, since we award points for each contribution in our community, but we don't have a Wrike challenge for every post. As mentioned, our internal point system emphasizes the quality of answers, as well as the time and effort invested.

Basudha Sakshyarika well, you could set up a new section in Wrike Stars and create general a recurring monthly challenge, for example "April contributions". This challenge could sum up all contribution points gained in April. This way everyone could see what they have earned the current month, and everyone would be rewarded for their effort in the community with some Wrike Stars points.
Love this! I agree with Florian Kislich and think that point visibility would be a great way to improve the process.
