Folder for Project Documents within a Project
I have added a "Project Documents" folder to my project templates to keep important project documents organized and out of my Gantt timeline. Within the Project Documents folder, I have created subfolders for items such as budgets, meetings, RAID, and stakeholder registers. This has been useful for quickly finding important project collateral, looking up meeting notes and attendees, and even tracking budget items. Regular project tasks are tracked as subitems of the parent project.
This is a great idea. We have done something similar which also makes it easier to exclude these when creating dashboards!
