Issues with tagging colleagues in wrike mobile

Wrike on Android experiencing issues with not tagging colleagues. When commenting, the colleague list appears as normal when inputting @. However, when sending the message the @ link is not live/active and does not work as intended.

Thanks.

Hi Richard,
Thanks for bringing this to our notice. I'm sorry to hear about the issue that you are facing. Could you please elaborate a bit more about the issue?
- Which device and application version you are using?
- Are other users of your account experiencing the same issue?
- Are you seeing that the mention tag has been delinked during typing of the comment or after you have submitted the comment?
- Is this a one-time issue or a recurring issue where you can't tag folks anymore via mobile?

I would suggest following a few basic steps to troubleshoot it:

  1. Ensure that your Wrike app is updated to the latest version.
  2. If updating doesn't help, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. This can sometimes resolve issues related to app glitches
  3. For Android devices, clearing the app cache might help. You can do this by going to your device's settings, selecting the Wrike app, and choosing the option to clear cache
  4. Sometimes, logging out of the app and then logging back in can resolve issues.

I have been having the same problem for several months. I have tried clearing cache, uniinstalling and re-installing the app, but no luck. When I @ mention someone using the app while typing a message, the names person appears and all seems good but when I send the message the @name is no longer highlighted and they never see the message. It is extremely annoying and several times and project has been delayed because the person receiivign the message never saw it - and the person sending the message often doesn't realize that the person was never notified. This is happening to all members of our team, not just me. It always works 100% of the time when using Wrike on the web - it's always when I use the app on my phone when this problem occurs.

Hi Andy & Richard,

If by any chance you or team mates who are also facing this issue are working with a Samsung device, then there are two possible suggestions from my team:

  1. Please use the Google standard keyboard instead of the Samsung keyboard on your devices while using Wrike.
  2. If you want to continue using the Samsung Keyboard, please try to update it to the latest version. Please note this may or may not lead to resolving the issue. So I'd suggest trying out option 1 in this case.

Hope this helps to alleviate the issue.
