Workflow Management and View
Hello Community ✌️,
I'm currently facing a challenge in organizing my projects efficiently. I need to find a way to easily view the types of workflows associated with each project/elements directly from the table view.
While I can see various details about my projects in this view, having a dedicated column for workflow types would immensely streamline my workflow management process. Is there a way to customize the table view to display this information, or perhaps an alternative solution within Wrike that could help achieve this? 💪
Many thanks !
Rosendo Espinosa - Group by status - that'll group by the different workflows used.
Other options would use dashboards: There you can "Break by status" and that'll separate different workflows.
Or, I'm assuming the different workflows are for different types of tasks, adding a custom field as a descriptor of the task type would also work. Also could be done with custom item types.
Let me know if that works, or if you want me to add any details to the other options.
Thanks Mike !
Hi Rosendo Espinosa, I was just going to open the same suggestion when I stumbled across yours :) You have my upvote.
I agree that there should be a way to view, at a glance and preferably in Table view, which workflows are being utilized for each task. In our case, we have over 20 workflows that we are aiming to reduce, and it's hard especially when going through our blueprints to try and see which ones are being used as we have to click on task status' one by one to see what's going on. This is especially tough as we have some workflows with common statuses, i.e. "In progress".
To Mike's point, that could help, but then we break the order of tasks that we rely on to understand the flow.
