How to Share a Project with Multiple Spaces and Teams with Consistent Workflows

Not every space has the same default workflow, and that can make sharing a project between teams a little tricky. This practice expands on Shared Projects – Wrike Help Center and addresses questions like this and this.

As you plan a project involving multiple teams using Wrike, first decide which team's Wrike space will hold the parent project. If in doubt, check with the overall project manager or related product owner(s).

Then, add a sub-project in the parent project for each secondary team's role and tasks. Share it with the secondary team - or all of them - but don't yet tag more Locations.

Next, ask each secondary team to Location tag at least their sub-project(s) into one of the folders or projects in their space. That way each sub-project can use its secondary team's workflow, if different.

The secondary team can tag the whole project with one of their folders for visibility. Do not tag it with another space, as that overrides the whole project's (and its sub-projects') workflows in the primary space.
