Could you please add an automation rule so that when an approver provides approval that a secondary approver is added.
I do agree that it would be nice to have adding an approval added as a "Then do this" option so that when other things on the task change it could add an approval for you. Then you could add approvals based on all the regular triggers and conditions, not just an approval finishing.
