Today, we're thrilled to bring you a very anticipated update: you can now color-code your custom fields 🥳
We know that many of you have been waiting for this feature, and we are delighted to share this exciting news with you!
📍Here's what you can do with this fresh update:
- Choose colors for options inside single- and multi- select custom fields.
- Change the order of options in field settings using drag and drop.
To start splashing colors on your fields, simply flip the 'Colors' switch in the settings for any new or existing single- or multi-select custom fields.
Just a heads up, this update is ready for all accounts with access to custom fields using the updated Wrike Lightspeed platform (in the new Table view, new Board view, and Item view).
We can't wait for you to enjoy this new feature! 🤩

My team is going to have a love / hate relationship with me when I put in all these colors! lol ... I would definitely like to see more color selection but loving it thus far.
Such a simple, but very useful thing! Love it!
Love this feature! Now I just have to use some self-control before I make everything color coded! This will make a big impact for certain fields/use cases. Thank you!
*high pitched squeal* YESSSSS!!!! I was literally in the process of building out a new space for a company initiative and was disappointed I couldn't color-code our Status custom field so I can use a different workflow. SO HAPPY FOR THIS!! THANK YOU! Send my love to the dev team, please!

Love the update! I don't see the colors of the custom fields when I make a Report containing these fields. Will that be a feature in the future? Thank you!

can colors be displayed in reports?
Hi Chris Roberts, thank you for sharing your question with us. Are you referring to custom fields in particular? In that case, I'm afraid not at the moment. However, the color is reflected in the status field, for instance.
Will this capability be accessible via the Gantt view anytime soon? Thanks!
