[Status: Launched 🚀] Need Ability to map requestor name to custom field for External Request form
I’ve created an external request form and would like to pull the requestor name into a custom field for reporting. It is currently being populated to the description box of the task. The requestor name is a default field when you hit next to submit the form so I don’t want to impact the customer experience by adding a field for it in the form.
Jason DAquin, I said this exact same thing to our Wrike onboarding rep just a couple of weeks ago! I have worked with many database structures during my 35+ year career in many different industries and have never encountered anything like this in being locked out of our own data input.

Lisa this is great news, thanks so much. Do you know if there's any plan to map Authors to Requestor name as well? We have some forms that are used by our Wrike users from within the system as well external users. When used by internal users, it would be nice to map internal requestors to the same fields we map external ones to. They don't see the two external user questions, so this data is lost when an internal user uses the form from within Wrike.

Lisa I wholeheartedly agree with the comment from Jason DAquin above. We want to be able to sort ALL forms and pull reports by requestors/authors. So we would either need this functionality for both internal and external users or the ability to map the author to that same custom field. Thanks!
