Opening updates on desktop

The email allows you to open updates, but the code always opens in the browser version instead of the file application. Is it possible to change that?

Hi Michael, currently email links direct only to the browser version so these emails will be a notification if you're using the Desktop version. Creating a direct link to the app is something that our Product Team is discussing so thank you for raising it here, we'll be sure to pass your feedback on.

Hi Stephen,

I have the same issue as Michael Dalton. This would be a great feature.

Is this something that is being discussed?  I just got a notification of the new Desktop app.  Links from my email still do not go to the app but still the browser.  Please fix.

Two + years later, and this would still be very helpful.

Hey everyone! You can change your settings so that Wrike links open in the Desktop App instead of your browser. This setting can be found in the "Apps & Integrations" menu.

Hope this helped! If you have any other questions, let me know.
