[Status: Launched! 🚀] Deleting Versions of a File
I saw a post elsewhere in the forums about this, but didn't see one here. (Apologies if I missed it.)
It would be phenomenal to be able to delete one version of an uploaded file. I use the "Edit" feature a lot to mark up PDFs for our design team, and I often forget and save it out of habit, which creates a new version. Is this an update on the horizon for Wrike?
p.s. LOVE the new ability to edit and delete comments in the proofing & editing tool. Also the COLORS!
Hi -
Its been a few months (since June) since the last update was posted for 'investigating'. Is there any indication this might be coming more towards being an actionable item?
This is really needed for those times when you upload a file to wrong place! Hope to see this new feature soon.
Hello everyone! I have great news - the team investigated this and they are now actively working on the solution 🎉🎉🎉
The release is planned for the end of Q3 - beginning of Q4. We'll let you know when this happens.
A huge thanks to all of you for supporting this suggestion! 😊

Please add this basic function in.
Also we need the ability to attach files to comments.

Hi Richard Benson,
According to the Product team, this feature will be coming in the next few weeks. As soon as it has launched, I'll be sure to update this post.
As for attaching files to comments, I would recommend creating a separate post in the Product Feedback section about this idea. That way, the Product team will be able to quickly find all feedback about this suggestion, and other Community members will be able to share their own support and input.
Hope this helped! If you need anything else, be sure to let me know.
Thanks Hugh, done that.👍
Hi Hugh,
great to hear this!

I would like to add a comment to file attachments to comments, because I have requested this feature too some weeks ago ... can't find my post anyways.
I have just looked for your post, but can't find it. Do you have a link for it?
Thanks
Michael
Hi Michael,

I have found my post: https://help.wrike.com/hc/de/community/posts/360048750914-Wrike-Proof-Upload-files-within-a-comment
Is it possible to merge these posts => and hand it over to the devs?
This feature would really help in many situations!!!
Thanks
Michael
Hi Michael Pucher and Richard Benson,
While I can't merge the votes of these posts, I can assure you that all of the feedback has been shared with the Product team. If you'd like, I can close the newer one as a duplicate and link to the older post? That way, all of the feedback and votes will be contained in one easily accessible area.
Let me know if this helps! If you need anything else, feel free to reach out at any time.
Hi Hugh,
Fine with me, close my new one and leave this one up. My comments added below.
We often spec out our designs with clients using the review/proofing viewer and it is really handy for both sides to be able to upload attachments to comments.
I would suggest these initial features;

Thanks for your assurance that all infos have been forwarded. For me it's perfectly OK closing one of the two posts and linking it to the other one ... :)
Hi Michael Pucher and Richard Benson,
I've done this now! If you need anything else, be sure to let me know.
