Custom Colors (for ANY color-editable feature/option)
I don't see that anyone has submitted a generic custom color request to be applied to ALL of Wrike, so I'm bringing together at least 40+ backlog requests in this community.
PROBLEM: Super limited color options for Wrike features that are not consistent across the site (example Rich Text editor in task/project/folder descriptions vs. Calendar layers vs. Workflows).
VALUE:
- Enhances the efficiency of Wrike as a project management tool for users, enabling us to better visualize and set up custom colors that meet our needs and workflows.
- Creates consistency across the site which makes the tool easier to use and reduces user frustration.
- Beneficial to color-blind users to have more options to help differentiate similar-looking colors.
SOLUTION: Implement a custom color picker tool that is available for any customizable color in Wrike.

Inspiration: IMO Google Docs has the best example of an easy-to-use color picker. Click the button, choose one of 80 pre-determined colors OR click one more time to customize the color using the slider bar or a HEX value). Microsoft Paint's "Edit Color" feature is also super basic but would meet the needs of this request without an extra click for customizable colors.
This is a great suggestion. We have a number of teams with highly complex workflows, and they wish there was a way to not have multiple workflow statuses as the same color.

I was about to submit the same suggestion. Glad I found this. Currently wrike have a very limited color options and it would benefit everyone if we can choose the color we want aside from what is Wrike's default colors. I just hope this happens very soon. We need to use as many colors as we can to differentiate items or codes. It will really help us a lot
Love this suggestion! It would be really nice to be able to customize the colors used in graphs and charts as part of the dashboards/reports especially when those are being used for executive level and board reporting. We prefer to use brand consistency throughout our packets for reporting.
