Table View Accessibility
For mass custom field editing, it would be very convenient to have access to Table View for a specific parent task or project's tasks and subtasks from List View.

This is an interesting idea Andrew Goddard! So, if I understand you correctly, you'd like to have a default view that can be set up on a task level?

Essentially, yes.
Unless I am missing something, if one's viewing a parent task w/subtasks or a project w/tasks from list view and a table view is wanted, one needs to view the enclosing folder in table view and search for those aforementioned items.
