Request form selection launches another form
I have a form built, we will call it RF#1, that is public and running as needed. I have a new form named RF#2 that has a dropdown with several options. One of the options, if selected, I would want to collect the same data that RF#1 is collecting. I would love the option to redirect the submitting to RF#1 if this option is selected.
Example: RF#1 is all about dogs and RF#2 is about your favorite animal.
RF#2 has a drop down where the submitter can select dog as their favorite animal. Because I have a form already built out asking about dogs, I would like the next button to launch the RF#1 form to collect the data.
Hey Joey Talbott, thanks for the suggestion! I've passed this on to our Product team.
Once this idea reaches 60+ upvotes, we'll be able to add a status here. If you have any other questions, be sure to let me know 👍

This would be very helpful. I've had to recreate a few different forms and had to do this through different form pages, but it gets tedious and would be nice to be able to link to another form.
Good idea
Thank you for supporting the suggestion, Cody Rogers and Tim Coyle! 🙂

I was hoping to find a way for directing a specific choice from one form to another and found this post.
Thank you for reaching out Jorel Viray! It's possible to redirect to a new page of the form is a certain option in the form has been chosen, and then mao different replies to different projects or assignees. This means that the form is rather complicated, because it's currently impossible to redirect to a different form, but was hoping that could help as well. Please let me know if I can advise on how this can be set up 🙂

Yeah I've built a complex form that redirects to several different pages depending on the scenario. I ended up just redirecting the choice to a new page and recreated the forms from there. I admit it was complex the first time I tried attempting this, but after understanding how it works I was able to get it to work. Complexity is kind of my thing and to give you an idea there's currently 14 pages including the submit page. Included various actions such as numerous "Add parent folder", different "Add assignee", dozens of "Go to page", multiple "Add subtask", a "Reset status to", and "Submit form". In this case, a top-down approach was followed. Although it may sound complicated, the form starts off with simple choices that branch off to different pages with additional actions. Predetermined conditions decided a need for further branching. Ultimately, each flow ended at submitting the form, so end of page actions also needed to be considered. A no further actions page was created for pathways that were solely used for notification purposes. Don't worry though, as @... is aware of what we are trying to do, and @... is aiding with automating things outside of Wrike 🙂
I'm really happy to hear that Jorel Viray! Please let me know if you'd like to discuss any other Wrike functionality, I'll be happy to 🙂

This ask would also be helpful is a form is going to be retired and a new link will replace it. You can put the new link in the old form until the traffic stops to the old link. I also have an issue where I have several departments have have one form but now want to split off. When the branching option is selected for a group that has moved off that form, I can link to where their new link is (the link itself, or a SharePoint Site). There are so many reasons to be able to embed links in a form beyond launching another form. There are times that the requestor may need more information before making their selection. Clicking a link to take them to a helpful site would be great.
Hi Joey Talbott, thank you for adding more feedback and sharing another use case here. I don't have an update from the team at the moment; I'll let you know when I do.

This would be a helpful feature for us, too.
For example, one form I have is for video requests and another form for larger campaigns that include the exact same questions as the video form. This requires a lot of doubling up on work trying to make sure everything is updated in all of the forms. Our forms are also extremely complex because we try to fit everything into one form since these forms are not dynamic to this degree that we are looking for.
Thank you for supporting the suggestion and sharing your use case Brittany Stringer, it's much appreciated 🙌🏼
Upvoted! Looking forward to this reaching fruition.
Hi Tina Burnell, thank you for adding your support here🙌🏼
Elaine - will this idea still be assigned a status and taken seriously if it receives 60 upvotes? Is there any plan currently to implement the idea proposed by Joey Talbot? As an org's Wrike space starts to sprawl over time, this feature becomes increasingly valuable and could save 100's of hours. I'd really love to see it rolled out one day soon.
Just to clarify re: my previous post - I would run a campaign to get 60 upvotes for it if that's what it takes to make it happen!
Hi Danielle Ford, welcome to the Community! Thank you for sharing this question with us. When a suggestion receives 60+ votes, a public status is assigned to it, and our Product Team pays special attention to the most popular idea. However, I'm afraid that obtaining the necessary votes won't automatically lead to the implementation of the feature. If you'd like to learn more about how we process feedback, please feel free to check this article 🙂
A possible workaround for this would be to create a question that would redirect the users to a page that could contain the exact same questions as the other request form, this way you could collect the same information you would receive when using the second request.
I hope this information helps! Please, feel free to visit our New to Community forum to get the most out of your experience with our Community.

I have a form where I need it to create a project blueprint once it is submitted.
The problem I have is that within there blueprint there are 2 other sub projects. I want one of those sub projects to be populated with the data from the form, but I can't find a way to direct that to happen. The information from the form only goes into the detail of the parent project. Any ideas? I can see one option is to create a sub project as one of the redirects, but that won't help with the form data populating that particular project
Hello Rhonwyn Williams, thank you for sharing your question with us. I have created a ticket with our Support Team so one of our experts can assist you with this. You will be contacted shortly.
If you have any additional questions, please let us know 👍
Juan,
If we could include narrative text and hyperlinks in the request form that could help streamline data collection from separate request forms and have the data populate to their respective projects.
I have a test case form and a bug tracker form. I'd like to include a hyperlink to the bug tracker in the instructions if a test case outcome is failed.
Would hyperlinks be possible?
Hi Belinda Hentz, welcome to the Community! I'm sorry but I'm afraid that I'm not 100% sure I understand your use case. It is possible to include hyperlinks to request forms, but I don't think this is exactly what you're referring to.
Is your case connected to the original post of this thread (referencing request forms)?
Thank you for your patience and looking forward to hearing back from you!
