Job Roles not showing in uploading excel files into Wrike
We are using the excel template for very large repetitive projects as we can programatically in excel set up several hundred rows that have the same tasks applied repeatedly.
To help us with workload planning we would like to use the Job Role to estimate the Effort required and assign different resources depending on their forecast workload.
When I set up the excel sheet for import to Wrike, I add the “Job Role” to the “Assigned to” field.

During the import, Wrike asks me to confirm the matching field, but when I refresh, the Assigned to field is empty.

Currently assignments in the import only apply to individuals, but we would like them to be Job Roles as well
thanks!

Hi there-
Just following up on this request from about a year ago.... Have there been any updates from the product team?
thanks!
Hi!
I am having the same issue. We want our blueprints to have the flexibility that job roles provides, but it's also not coming through in my imports.
Thanks

Surprised to see that running an Excel import properly displays the job role title in the spreadsheet, yet we cannot import it using the same logic/formatting.
When importing via Excel, if you are using the "Assigned To" field to automatically assign to users, you can automatically have them map to specific users by including their email address (e.g. "John Doe <jdoe@mycompany.com>").
My guess would be that since job roles don't have an email address, then this automatic mapping won't be possible. However, it's unfortunately that the Users dropdown on the mapping screen also doesn't include job roles. A simple update to include job roles in the user mapping dropdown would be a solid "quick fix" for this.
