Completed Tasks showing in "All active tasks" filter
I don't know what I did, but completed tasks are now showing even when I used the "All active tasks" filter.

Yes, this is in a project's list view. Is there any fix?
Hi Ryan Slack! It is currently not possible to filter projects on the List View. This feedback has been passed on to the Product team.
I'm having the same problem with Gantt charts - totally cluttered with Completed tasks!
From your comment above it sounds like although there is a filter but the filter doesn't work. Any news on this since 4/2020???
Welcome to the Community Heidi Brumbaugh 🙂 It's possible to filter out tasks as well as projects on the Gantt Chart now:
It should work correctly but please let me know if you have any issues!

Good day, is it possible to filter projects on the List View now? Or it's only in table view and Gantt chart? Thank you.
Welcome to the Community Beata Rynkevič 👋
This hasn't been introduced to the List View, but you're correct that it's possible to filter the projects in Table View as well as Gantt Chart 👍

Hello - I am having issues with Completed Tasks showing up under the "Active Tasks Only" when in List View. It allows me to filter them between All Tasks and Active Tasks Only, but the completed ones are still showing up. How can I fix this?
Hello Emily Frost, welcome to the Community. May I please kindly ask you to include a screenshot of your view?
Also, please kindly note that the List View is planned to be sunset as the New Table view includes the same capabilities and is way more powerful. Additionally, it can be configured so it looks very similar to the List View. If you have any questions regarding this topic, please feel free to share them with us.
Looking forward to your reply!
I am having this issue on the table view. I applied a filter to only show backlog and active tasks according to the Agile IT Workflow, and it still shows cancelled and completed tasks.
Hi Valerie Miller, welcome to the forums 👋

I also am not able to filter out inactive tasks from the "All Active Tasks" view in Table View. Both completed and cancelled tasks are visible.
Hey Kyle, support reached out to me and explained that there are filters now for projects and tasks, so you need to apply the same filter to both.
If you click "All Active Tasks", then click on "Add more filters..." at the bottom, a side bar will appear where you can apply the filter to projects and tasks. That worked for me.
Valerie - any other guidance on that? I'm not seeing where there is a space to filter out completed projects.
Hi Sarahi,
To filter out the completed projects, click on ‘All active tasks”, then select “Add more filters”.
Under here, you can set the status for Tasks and Projects to “all active”.
Thank you for sharing the solution, Valerie Miller. I'm sure it will be helpful to others in the community! 😊
