[Status: Backburner ⏳] Feature Request - Time entry in sub-tasks needs to roll up to Parent Task
When we set up a project we have a custom field that contains a invoice milestone for each project task that is a client deliverable
We also estimate each resources time before the project starts so we can compare estimate vs actuals for each of the delivery tasks
Under a Task there may be several sub-tasks, but when someone enters time to a sub-task it doesn't roll up to the parent task.
This is an issue for us as we would like to compare our estimates, but the actuals will contain hours logged to sub-tasks that don't show up to the parent task.
Please let us know if this can be enabled (possibly using a check box that says, "Hours on sub-tasks roll up to parent task?"

Hi folks, apologies for the confusion here. I've looked at our communication on this topic as well as our internal conversations related to time entry rollups for subtasks and parent tasks. Our team was researching this feature and they were planning to work on it as part of the New Table view functionality. At some point some updates have been introduced, for example it's now possible to rollup entries from tasks to projects. Unfortunately, the development had to be paused at some point due to the amount of resource needed for further updates, as well as other updates that needed to be worked on.
Our team still thinks that this is a great idea and they would like to work on this feature in the future. We apologize for the miscommunication here, we'll be sure to continue sharing your feedback on this topic with the responsible team and we will let you know if there are any updates here in the future.

Hi, I'd like to add my voice to this request - it feels like another gap in Wrike's functionality that we can't roll up effort and logged time of child tasks into the parent task. It's great that it rolls up to the project level, but having it roll up to the task level too is very sorely missed.
This has been open for nearly 5 years now and has attracted over 100 votes. I hope that the team re-visit this shortly.
