[Status: Not planned] Send Yourself Notifications
Wrike currently does not allow me to send myself notifications. I can understand this since I did the action and should know what I did. However, there have been several times where I want to remind myself to do something in the future or see what someone else would see when they're assigned, @mentioned, shared, etc.
I'd like to be able to view inbox notifications for things that I did. They could default as read and archived to impact most people the least, but it would allow me to un-archive and un-read it so I'll have an un-read notification to remind me to do something later.
Hi Joshua, thanks for this suggestion!
I usually create tasks in my personal folder (my personal Space now) or tag the tasks from other folders with it, but I think what you're suggesting is great, thanks for sharing 🙂

Up voting this one. 🙋 Having the ability to @mention myself where I was in a project plan under development or just use as a reminder to do something later that's not really a full-fledged task would be fantastic.
Hey guys, a quick update: for now the suggestion is not planned. I'll keep you informed if anything changes 🤝

Hey everyone, just spoke with the Product team and this is currently not planned. I'll keep you posted if there are any updates!
I second this request...Another valuable use case is the ability to send an escalated task to myself, so that I can forward the escalation to internal or external leadership team members that do not use or have Wrike access. Not something used often, but would be valuable when needed.
Hi Dan Woodward, thank you for this feedback!
2024 - has this issue been addressed about the self notifications? Because its still needed.
Hi Anna Duyckinck, welcome to the Community. Thank you for chiming in, may I ask if creating an automation rule to @mention your user would be of help? In such a case, it would be necessary to define a trigger, which could be a custom field name "Notify me" or similar, which, when checked, would trigger the mention.
Following this example, there could be other alternatives as well. For example, you could specify the type of change that has been made to the task (if the task description changes, its dates have been updated, and many more).
I hope this information helps! Please, let us know if you have any additional questions.
I just tried to notify myself and could not! upvoting this one
