Copy custom widget within a dashboard
Once I have created a custom widget for my dashboard, I have the option to copy it to another dashboard, but I cannot copy it within the original dashboard to "re-use" and edit. This would be a quick time saver to be about to set the widget with the exact folder/sub-folders needed, time frames, etc. and then simply "copy" the widget within the dashboard and make changes to the filters as necessary.
As it is, we are creating a widget that we want, then copying it to another "clipboard" dashboard and then copying it back to the original dashboard.
Agreed. This absent feature seems so silly!
Love the workaround Michele Mason mentions though! 🤓
Hey Michele Mason and Jamie Adler, thank you for your feedback! It's been passed on to the Product team. I don't have an update for you at the moment, but as soon as I do, I'll let you know 😊
This option would save me SO much time! Another vote from me! 😀
Thank you for the feedback, Caitlin Beaty!
I just had to use the same workaround...
Agreed! After configuring a widget, I want to be able to duplicate it and make a small change to see different but related information in that same dashboard. Glad to know you all have found a workaround, but yeah... seems silly to have to do that.
Thank you for your feedback Desiree Dixon, and welcome to the Community! 🙂

The fact that you can copy to another dashboard but not the one you are working in, is going to make me go crazy!
