Feature request - Add calendar layer based on custom date field
It would be great to be able to have a layer on a calendar that you can view instead of by project duration or end date, by a custom date field added to that project.
Use case example 1: You have a marketing event taking place. The project start and end dates aren't necessary the "event date" that you would want to see if sharing a marketing event calendar project, but you want to visualize the "Event date" on the calendar layer. If there is a custom field added to the project with "Event date", we should be able to display by this field.
Use case example 2: You have a marketing campaign running. You want to visualize the actual "external launch date" of the project instead of the project timeline in a layer.
Hey Amanda Cochren! Thank you for your suggestion. It makes perfect sense to be able to create a layer that allows viewing projects by custom date fields (e.g., 'Event date' or 'External launch date'). I can see how this would definitely align with the need to manage key dates.
