I wanted to create a task that would repeat daily. I tried to use Wrike's built in option for Re-Occuring Tasks, and was flooded with tasks for each day of the week.
I found a good solution for me. Create a task, but don't complete it. Just push out the "Due Date" 1 day, once your daily task was completed.
Jason - I ran into the same issue with creating a daily re-occurring task to define a "daily work allocation" to help manage unplanned incoming work. I think your solution is worth a try for myself :)
If it's a simply daily recurring task...not connected to a project, You could do the following:
I tested this out and it seemed to work. Here's the problems I see:
FWIW, ideally, Wrike will create a way to have those tasks "hidden" on their own :)
I agree with the request for daily reminders/tasks. It seems like a big mess to have tasks duplicated rather than just having one task that spawns itself for the next day after it's been completed.
Hi everyone, just wanted to pop in to let everyone know we've released updated logic for how recurrent tasks work. Tasks are no longer created all at one time, instead, you can choose how many tasks you want to have created at any given time. You can read more about the updates on Anton's post.
