Missing "HomePage" in Lightspeed
The new Lightspeed Layout of Wrike might be very efficient but I do have difficulties when the spaces are only on the left side in the menu.
I have to click so often to shorten the navigation of a space and to scroll so much, which I don’t like to.
For me it was very convient to go to the „homepage“=startpage with the big symbols to dive in the spaces with one click.
Maybe there is a possibility to have this Page back.
Are there other Users who miss their Home Page?
Hello dear support team, I also miss the start page with all the Spaces very much.
I agree, that is a missing experience to see your home page with some key spaces/folders in front of you. If there is a simple home button added on the top of the page would be great. Also, something really great would be to build your own custom view similar to dashboard as a home screen so that you have everything that you need right in front of you in the home screen with access to items just a click away (this should be a quick view of starred spaces, folders/projects, or calendars if you would like)
I am also not happy with the fact that the paths within Wrike increase many times over since there is no longer a starting-page. Switching between the different spaces has become very tedious. I would be very happy to be able to use the familiar start page again.
Thank you for sharing your feedback on the sidebar navigation, everyone! I'll now pass your thoughts to our team responsible for the navigation 🙌

I also miss the "HomePage" in the new version, hopefully this will be activated again :-)
I've also heard from many members of our organization that the missing home page is causing them to use more clicks to find what they need vs the old home page.
Thank you folks, I'll share your feedback with our team.

There are many things, with this new Lightspeed rollout, that aren't making my, or my organization's, day-to-day experience with Wrike any faster - it's actually making it more convoluted.
:) :)
Our team really enjoyed the home page as a starting point, it was less visual noise and made it easier to navigate to pinned items.
Hey Becky Carley, welcome to the forums 👋 Thanks a lot for your detailed feedback, I've now shared it with our team.
Jess Cuddy Thank you for your input, also shared with the team 👍

Hi Lisa we all understand you are sharing the feedback with the team, however can you please address the question of why these decisions were made? We are all eager to learn more about the why. Thank you.
As mentioned many times above, the new "lightspeed" is anything but that. wastes more time trying to find things, having the functionality of the home screen with all its functions was perfect, we are a small team of only 34 users currently but 34 complaints to me a day about how frustrated they are using wrike in the new form gets a bit much.I am sure that the people on the forum as well as many more will agree the old layout was much better.
Hey folks! Please rest assured we're sharing your feedback internally.
The reason our team decided to sunset the homepage was lower usage as well as willingness to make the experience more smooth by adding elements of the Home page to different instances in Wrike to eliminate the number of clicks. We understand that it takes time to adjust your processes to the updated interface, but we hope you'll find many enhancements we've introduced useful. At the same time, we make sure to let our team know that users here are missing the Home page. Thank you for your feedback!

Thanks for your feedback Lisa, sadly the amount of clicks it now takes to access info that was readily available is way more and much more frustrating. What you set out to do has in fact been the opposite. There are many features that i find incredibly useful in the lightspeed update, automation and request forms are a breeze to work through but there is still that itch we cant scratch.
Hi Victor O'Moore, thank you very much for your reply. I understand the adaptation process can be challenging and I'd like to offer you the possibility of asking your Customer Success Manager to assist you during the transitioning process. If you are interested in this option, please let me know 👍
Looking forward to your reply!
Dear Wrike: I'll cast a vote for missing the home/start page that shows all my Spaces/Recently Visited Pages, etc. I found it easier to navigate to other features. Please add it back to Lightspeed. Thank you.
Noted, thanks for sharing Joe Amadio. I've passed your feedback on to the team 👍

I echo many of the thoughts shared in this thread about the home page. I have received feedback from several of my team members who miss this feature. Some indicate it was easier to see b/c the icons were bigger so for them visibility is the issue with the left sidebar. For others who use multiple spaces and toggle back and forth between them also miss it. With everything crammed into the left sidebar it can feel full and jam-packed. Things can almost get lost in the long lists. As the admin for our team, I miss having a standard starting point to provide direction to others in the team. Everyone's left sidebar looks different depending on their spaces and work, so for me trying to say 'start here' there is no standard 'here'. It would be so helpful to have a landing page instead of being launched straight into a folder/project/task. I would love to see a more 'dashboard' like experience with some customizable widgets for the homepage so you could blend some navigation with some dashboard elements. Just a few thoughts and wishful thinking about homepages.
Thank you for the detailed feedback Melissa Mourer, we appreciate you sharing it. We'll now send it to the respective team.

Hi, Is there a way to disable lightspeed and return to the old views? I'm missing the homepage and am finding it all very non-user friendly now. Thanks, Karen
Hi Karen Henderson, welcome to the forums 👋
Wrike Lightspeed is our updated platform that is replacing the classic one. It would be great if you could share what exactly you miss about the Home page so we can share your feedback with our Product team.

Please bring back the home page.
With lightspeed if I want to see my notifications I have to pull up the side menu, then click inbox
If I want to navigate to a dashboard I have to pull up the side menu, then click Dashboards, then click the dashboard I want. If I click a pinned dashboard, I lose the dropdown menu to switch between dashboards (never understood why this is).
If I want to navigate to projects, I have to pull up the side menu again, navigate to the specific project, then to switch projects I have to repeat this.
I really liked having a home page, a starting place with an overview and an easy open "desktop" where I could get to where I needed with a single click. The home page needed improvements, there was a lot wrong with it, too, but moving the "home page" into the sidebar and removing the actual home page has made navigation more cumbersome. Increasing the number of clicks to get where I want to go is a downgrade.
I like the improvements made to the sidebar, but not at the expense of a home page. Please bring it back.
Thank you for the detailed feedback Brian Krause, I'll be sure to send it to the responsible team.

I echo the sentiments shared by others in this thread. The old home page layout was very helpful, and the Wrike tool (which was already a bit cumbersome to navigate), is now even less intuitive.
Maybe if you have some tutorial videos to share about the updated "lightspeed" layout then that may help, but the home page was awesome. It was a one-stop-shop where I could see all of my Spaces, bookmarked folders and projects, etc., and now it's much slower to find what I need.

We are finding that new or light users of Wrike are being put off by information overload, lack of a customizable home page contributes to this. Would greatly appreciate either a more customizable "pinned" area (folders, headers, colours), OR reinstating a home page. I'm currently battling with people making spreadsheets outside of Wrike to simplify things!!
