Resource Booking; Deprecate the booked time based on tasks "assigned" to that booking
When planning a project by booking time, say 500 hours, it would be helpful to allow tasks to then be booked against that booking, so deprecate the hours accordingly. So, if I created one task of 100 hours, then the remaining booked time should be 400 hours. However, at the moment I have to manually remove from the booking and add to a task plan.
Excellent idea!

I am just starting to test this feature and agree with Aaron and will take it a step further to ask why once you assign those "booked" hours to a person (vs. a job role) that doesn't show up on their timesheet. What I love about this new feature is that it can replace the need for applying effort individually to every single task, while capturing time across a lengthy project. But if it doesn't then appear on the timesheet than it really only helps with the upfront planning of projects and not the ongoing management of them.
Hello,
Do we have an update of this feature to link the booking with the project efforts to support the ongoing project management ?
Kind Regards,
Kareem
