Using Wrike for AV Requests in the classroom
we are testing to see if we can use Wrike forms to generate equipment and staffing requests for course work in the classroom. (we are the nerds delivering tot eh classroom)
Have most of the simple stuff done and working but i want to automate some of it. I would like to have a checkbox of the days of the week, then a start time and end time for each of those checked.
So if you check one day, you see one start time/end time shown. If you select two days you see two of each and so on.
Or if that doesn't work.
We provide a drop down of the days of the week along with a start time and end time. they fill that in then the next field asks if there is another daytime frame. If it is yes then give them another page of day/time frames. if not then submit form.
Hi Jim, thank you for sharing that interesting use case! I liked the conditional checkbox idea :) Something I wanted to suggest is trying out Dynamic Request Forms, which allow you to add conditional follow-up questions based on the previously given answer. Have you had a chance to check those out? Would love to hear what you think about this option!
I really like the dynamic request form feature, and use it often with being able to apply not only directing different answers from a drop down menu to different pages that may have have a different set of questions; but also to combine multiple request forms to make it 1 form. I.e. our Leave Request form is actually 6 different leave request forms in 1.
The only thing I don't find helpful is when I have a follow up question that I don't want to be redirected to another page. Which I think may also be applied to the original question in this feed. An example how I use conditional questions on the same page - "Do you require an item for this request?" [dropdown menu to include yes or no], follow up question now is "If yes, what is it that you require....etc." [question type dependent on what is being asked, short answer, checkbox, dropdown, etc.].
Currently it does not make sense to direct this question to another page because it would make the flow of questions for the user overly complicated (feedback we've received when we have multiple pages to a request form with only 1 follow up question), however, by keeping it on the same page I am unable to make the follow up question "required" as it might not apply to all requests. Even though it might actually be required in some circumstances.
It would great if questions could be dynamic not only to be sent to other pages, but by finding a way to keep them on the same page, or make the "required" field dependent on answers.
Hi Bailey! That's a great request. I don't want it to get lost in this thread and want people to be able to +1 it. Do you think you could take it add it as a new post?
Not a problem Stephanie - I have adding as a new post as requested, and can be found here

@Bailey Perfect, thank you!
