My name is Mark Tapia, and I'm a Senior Technical Consultant on Wrike's Professional Services team! ๐ I'll be bringing you some ideas of ways to use Wrike Analyze that have been effective for other customers. Today, we start with: Using Widgets to Drill Down into Data!

Common Data Needs
ย
There are a number of ways to set up boards in Wrike, but one of the most common ways is to pull in all the data from a Space or Folder into a board and then filter that data to see what you're most interested in. Some examples are:

- Filtering for projects of a specific type (usually indicated by a Custom Field)
- Filtering for projects Created or Due within a certain timeframe
- Filtering projects by certain owners or authors
- Filtering projects for certain statuses (e.g. Completed, At Risk, or Not Started)

Some users will create multiple boards to focus on each of these filters separately or create individual boards for what a given executive or manager may be interested in. However, there is a better way!

One great way to set up a board is to pull in all the data and then use the widgets as filters to drill down into the specific data set you're interested in. Want an example? Follow me to a video!

You can see how setting up 'Filter Widgets' is an effective way to set up a board that can be used by many individuals on a team, and how you can use text instructions to guide the user on how to interact with the board.

Great visual! I wish more of these options were available in the analytics dashboards that come with business accounts.
Very helpful to see Wrike Analyze in action and to showcase this specific board need!
A nice PR video for management to convince them that we should invest work in making such an analytic.
But one thing is diffrent to us for sure: your data is updating so fast. When we are playing with that it tooks so much time for updating.
We use Widget Filters frequently for our report. Thanks for sharing.

I would love to be able to report on custom fields, especially when they are linked to a formula field.
I love that Wrike is so customizable - so you can get exactly the data you need!

You should be able to report on Custom Fields via Wrike Analyze and create custom Formulas that imitate the Formula Fields.
The best way to use Custom Fields in Analyze is to activate your Custom Fields as Custom Dimensions. If you reach out to Support and give them a list of Custom Fields you would like to activate as Custom Dimensions, it will make Custom Fields look the same in Wrike Analyze as other "native" Wrike fields (e.g. Status, Task Name, Task Due Date, etc.)
After activating the Custom Fields, you should be able to create Formulas in the Values sections of widgets that can perform the same (or even improved!) calculations that Wrike's Formula Fields can.
