Default Subtask Workflows
It would be amazing to be able to set a default subtask workflow for a task.
Use case:
Task is: Source furniture for living room
(The workflow of this is In-process - On-hold - Completed)
Subtasks are:
- Sofa
- Lamp
- Coffee table
(The workflow of these subtasks is Sourcing - Sourced - Purchased - Delivered)
And even subtasks of a subtask for example under the Sofa subtask you may have options, and those options could have a workflow that is Internally Approved, Externally Approved, Final Select, Not Selected)
So the chain could look like this:
Source furniture for living room (IN-PROCESS)
- Sofa (SOURCING)
- ------ Sofa option 1 (INTERNALLY APPROVED)
- ------ Sofa option 2 (EXTERNALLY APPROVED)
- Lamp (SOURCED)
- Coffee Table (DELIVERED
JUST A THOUGHT!
I do this manually for one of my folders. I agree it would be helpful to be able to set them by default. It could work even better if you were able to set sub-levels within the same workflow instead of creating separate workflows.
That would be amazing!
Thank you for sharing this suggestion Andre Herrero, and thanks for supporting, Anna Wallace 🙌
Passing this on to the team now 👍

Yes please! My only workaround is to teach the team how to create subtasks from a blueprint when they manually add these on - so that it'll automatically have the right workflow (and assignees, description, custom fields, etc.)
