Reporting Cog showing too much information
We would like to move to Wrike for sharing our project Status' with clients. This would save us the admin of taking data out of Wrike and into excel and then editing it in a client-friendly format.
Currently we can create a report that allows us to show:
- Project name
- Due Date
- Status
- Custom field for notes/updates
However, when shared as a Snapshot, a client can click the cog and enable fields like 'Time Spent', 'Effort', Finance fields etc. These fields are not data that we want clients to be able to see.
It would be great to be able to turn certain customization off on snapshot reports when sharing them with external users.

Came to the Help site today specifically looking for how to disable to ability for clients to edit the fields visible on Snapshots, and quite surprised that's not possible. We won't be able to use snapshots for our clients until we can suppress the ability for them to modify the visible fields, as we have many custom fields that are not appropriate for client visibility.
Huge upvote for the ability to suppress the gear icon altogether, to prevent snapshots from being modified by public viewers.
