Deleting a User / Transferring Resources / Re-creating a User / MFA Issues

Couple of questions. There's a user who can't get log into Wrike (has tried forgot password multiple times, gets password reset email, but MFA code is never accepted). Because I can't administratively reset his password (UPVOTE THAT FEATURE, PEOPLE!!) - my only recourse seems to be to delete the account and then send him a new invite (we have enterprise base plan, btw). 

1) I can't re-assign tasks on deletion (not the account owner - who is temporarily unavailable). Is there a way to "bulk assign" tasks from one account to another before deletion? Luckily, there are only 30 or so active tasks assigned to the user, so easy enough to manually assign one-by-one if necessary.

2) If I DO delete his account and send a new invite using the same email, will his current tasks STILL be assigned to that account somehow (seeing as the same name/email is being used), or are they deleted the minute I delete the account and would then have to be re-assigned anyway?

Also - out of curiosity - has anyone else figured out a streamlined way to deal with this (in the event a password reset is not successful).
