New Experience Home Page - Customize Pin Appearances like Widgets

I'm getting used to using the New Experience in Wrike and my biggest struggle right now is on the Home Page. I have about a dozen pinned items and they all look nearly identical, so finding exactly which item I'm looking for requires scanning through the text until I find it.

It would be really cool if we could customize the appearance of the pinned items to be more dynamic and organize them in a way that makes sense to us. For example:

  • Show color-coded folders as their matching color when pinned
  • Resize pinned items, with more content being shown on items as they're made larger
  • Allow subsections of "Pinned" items so we could organize them into different categories
  • Make folders, dashboards, and other "types" of pinned items look different from each other.

Hi Jessie Ostrander

I thought you may find this helpful. We've released an update that enables your pinned items to be available in the Hamburger menu in the New Wrike Experience. This section can be collapsed and expanded by clicking on the title 'Pinned' in the Hamburger menu.

In the coming weeks, an update to expand your pinned folders and projects with sub-folders/sub-projects in the Hamburger menu will also be available. Please check out this Community post to find out more about this.

Do you think this will be helpful for you? If you have any questions/comments please do let me know 👍

I think this is a great suggestion. We would also like the ability to change the order of the pinned items.

This Hamburger feature is helpful to me as I use Pins as just one option for tracking projects. The idea for me is that as a Digital Director, I have to jump across multiple marketing projects that I am NOT tasked with, but I have to keep track of when questions arise because they relate to holistic goals.

I think a valuable win-win and probably easy addition would be to create a "Pinned Widget" so that users can add this to their dashboard as another way to find "Pinned Projects" in one convenient and easy-to-use location.
