Gantt chart: collapse recurrent task into single row with task blocks spaced out according to the recurrence interval

Currently, recurrent tasks are presented one-per-row in the Gantt chart view. Recurrent tasks can be collapsed into a Folder or Project, but the Gantt chart shows this as a solid line. I would like this view to show blocks for each recurrent task separated by a space to indicate the interval between each task.
