Workweek Editing: Make (duration based) rescheduling optional

Please make the rescheduling of tasks optional when editing the workweek.

When working on individual tasks, Wrike always provides the option to:

• Edit the workflow status of a task based on the status of it's subtask(s)
• Apply the rules of date alignment

The same option should be provided when making a large scale change, such as account-wide workweek editing, that will impact multiple users and their tasks. Unfortunately at the moment, there is no option. If you need to modify the workweek for your account, all impacted account tasks within the account will be rescheduled, based on original task duration. Further, there is no way to undo the change. Individual tasks will need to be individually edited by the account admin and/or individual account users (especially if their tasks were private and the account admin does not have record of these changes).

I understand why mass auto-rescheduling in this way can be helpful. There are also circumstances in which this auto-rescheduling is harmful:

• timelines can change. Auto rescheduling can push deadlines ahead, possibly causing unnecessary urgency and multiple deadlines within the same time-frame that were once spread out.
• due dates can be pushed back because the duration based auto rescheduling, causing deadlines to be missed.

It seems at one point, Wrike had the potential harm in mind. A now outdated blog post regarding workweek editing (https://www.wrike.com/blog/customize-working-days/) states "The changes will affect all tasks created in the future by all users in the account. To avoid potential confusion, existing tasks will not be automatically rescheduled. When you change an existing task, the new settings will come into effect."
