Email Settings For Users

Issue

The e-mail “spam” Wrike sents is a big issue. Of course, the user can change e-mail settings to get only notifiers he really needs, but most users miss to do so.

They are annoyed but do not communicate the problem they have as they think that is the way Wrike works. We often hear their (justified) complaint as a side notice…if at all

 

Solution

For me, as admin, it must be possible to set the default settings for a user at least once – when creating the user.

If this is too specific, I wish to set default settings for a group.

 

Can you forward that to Wrike. What about you, do you support this requirement. (not a requirement I want to pay for, I think that Wrike has a lack on functionality here)

Yes agree with this.  I have the other extreme here.  Some staff have zero defaulted emails and therefore tasks being chased up for infrequent users of Wrike often get missed until I Status Update Request for them, this then prompts an email.  

 

If they ignore that email though, then its a friendly chat in person.

100% agree, currently I have to sit with every single user to to them how to change the settings.

Please make this happen!

 

There needs to be more "admin" type controls to help admins make changes to work-spaces across the entire company instead of requiring all settings to be made on a user by user basis.

Again totally agree - we are just beginning to use Wrike and want to be able to set the email notifications for new users so they don't get email overload and a poor impression of Wrike. They were all shown how to update email preferences in the initial training but how many will remember to do so?
