[Status: Backburner ⏳] Approvals by User Group
I'm a big fan of the new approvals feature, but not being able to have approvals by user group rather than only users is preventing our team from implementing.
For example, we have a process that requires 3 departments approval prior to the task moving to the next status. There are 3-4 people in each of these departments (who are also user groups). We don't need approval from all 12 people to move forward with the task, only 3 (1 approval from each department).

Hello, any update on this? As a potential new user, this would really help close the gap with the approvals process.
Sounds like a great addition. Especially when you only need that one approval and multiple people can give it.

Any plans of circling back on this request? It has reached 90 votes and I have found several other threads with similar topics.
We have a similar case that tasks will need to be approved by 5-6 different departments that have 2-3 people that can complete the approval. So right now we sometimes have to add large groups of approvers and then manually remove the others once someone from that department has signed off on the task.
