Customize Dashboard Layout (Horizontal Layout Option)

I would like the ability to customize dashboard layout to allow for horizontal placement of widgets in addition to the strictly vertical option available now.

For example, when I add a chart from a Folder/Project's Analytics tab, it becomes stretched taller and squished.  Allowing the chart to span horizontally across the bottom would make this much more aesthetically pleasing and more useful.
