Timesheet as standalone feature
My company has begun using the Timesheet capability in Wrike, and really enjoy the straightforward functionality. We're not at a level of resourcing sophistication where the entire Resourcing module makes sense for us at this time, but my understanding is that Timesheets are only available through the module.
I view the two utilities as very distinct, and would like to persist the capability of a centralized, weekly time sheet submission without requiring full adoption of Resourcing. Timecard-style time submission is a pretty fundamental component of a project platform, so my hope is we'll be able to retain this as part of our core system rather than dependent on an add-on.
"...my hope is we'll be able to retain this as part of our core system rather than dependent on an add-on." -- I agree. This is basic functionality of time tracking. Please leave on regular Wrike. Switching from task to task is difficult without this.

Yes I agree. I have a hard time seeing the difference between timesheets and Timelog. It seems like timesheets is just a more refined version of the same functions.
I agree. We really need the timesheet feature, but we really don't need the rest of the resourcing module.
Timesheet submission is fundamental for us.
Hey everyone, thank you for sharing all of your feedback and your use cases here.
The Product team currently have no plans to add timesheets to the base product. If there are any changes here, I'll be sure to let you know.
If you have any further feedback, feel free to reach out at any time.
Absolutely agree with everyone here!
It's a shame Wrike isn't looking to add this as a basic feature.
Our team doesn't manage resources, folks just know to get their work done, but we do need to track our time.
About 25-35% of our time isn't captured because it takes time, no pun intended, to find specific tasks then add hours. It would be nice to have timelogs in one place where you can add specific tasks and update time throughout the week.
Thank you for your input, Wrike Administrator! This suggestion has been passed on to the Product team, and once we have any updates regarding this, we'll make sure to let you know!

Absolutely agree to everyone. I see time spent entries as fundamental part of the project status and progress controlling, and necessity for optimizing effort estimates.
The time spent UI in the task itself is not a practicable solution. With the timesheet there would be a user-friendly option for the functionality available.
Furthermore, in my organization, less than 30% of the existing users do the time-logging at all, and we don't need all the other parts of the ressource planning module.
It feels like to rent a bicycle without a seat. You can ride it, but it is still is missing a relevant part. But luckily the providers offer an seat for the bike in the optional "bicycle trailer package"...
I feel really frustrated about that policy.
