[Duplicate] Why is formatting so limited in comments?

I don't understand why comments don't use the exact same formatting as the original task description. It's more consistent - surely this has already been requested, so I'll happily delete this if I can see where to upvote :)
It would be very beneficial to have more formatting available to us too! Bold, Underline and bullets would be a great start!
