Attach files from ipad

is there a way to attach files aside from photos using the iOS app? I don’t get the typical options like Box or Onedrive, and I can’t access files on the iPad other than photos.

Hi John, currently the iOS app does not support these functions and you can only upload via your local storage.

For now, you can create a sharable link and post this in the Comments and Description section.

The mobile team is constantly working on enhancements to mobile as more and more people are using the app. Keep an eye on the Weekly Releases for latest updates 👍

@John Wolf

You can upload files from iPad if you use the desktop version of the app instead of the mobile app.  In Safari, you hold the refresh icon on far right within the address bar.  In Google Chrome, click the ellipsis icon on the far right and at the bottom of that menu is an option to request the desktop site.

In both of these browsers, I can access files saved on my iPad.  Hope this helps.

Any progress on upgrading iPad app to allow file uploads? My team is a few weeks into using Wrike, and we assumed this feature would be available on both desktop and iPad platforms. It’s really cramping our style. And we have had no luck using the desktop app on the iPad—requesting the desktop site doesn’t work.

Hi guys, the product team shared this screencast which will help with this (I don't use iOS so can't test from here).

Let me know if you have any questions 👍

Hi Stephen,

Is Wrike planning to release what's shown in the screencast?

Hi Jorge López!

It is possible to attach files outside of the Photos app in iOS!

  1. Tap the paperclip icon beside the comment section and select "Documents".
  2. This will bring you to your iOS device's Files App. If you want to change the location, select Browse in the top left hand corner.
  3. Depending on which apps you have downloaded, this will dictate which locations you can search for files within. If you want to get files from Dropbox or Google Drive, you'll need to have those apps on your device before you can select them.

And that's it! If you have any other questions let me know 😊
