Reporting Statistics

Is there a way to create a report to show % complete for each project?  example:

Creation of a simple formula to report % complete for each project?

1) count # of tasks total

2) count # complete

3) report % remaining open items / closed items to be completed.  I am having to do this manually at this time, i would hope the system could do this simple calculation.
