Templates and template task creation

Is it possible when creating a folder or project template that when assigning assignees that they don't see them until the template is actually duplicated and put in a directory that they have access too? Seems like the way it is now a person will always have a task assigned to them stemming from the template folder.

Hey Ryan, thanks for reaching out 🙂
You can leave the Tasks in the template Project/Folder unassigned, or set the statuses of the template's Tasks as deferred. Deferred Tasks do not show up in the overdue section of To-Do emails or in the Dashboard widgets for overdue Tasks, so users are not bothered with template Tasks in their To-Do lists. When you duplicate a Folder template, the statuses of all copied Tasks will be automatically switched to active.
Please let me know if that helped 🙌

Thank you! I had not thought of using the status of the task to hide its visibility.
