Email notification task file path toggle
Hi all, welcome to a bit of product feedback focused on how email titles/subjects can be terribly long if you have a complex folder structure (specifically if the task you're being emailed about has several folder tags). So, without-further-a-due...
PROBLEM / USE CASE
It has come to my team's attention that when you have a very structured workspace within Wrike (I'm talking six / seven folders deep and most tasks are tagged in 4 or five places) the length of email descriptions becomes pointlessly long and the feedback we're getting is that people don't bother reading notifications because of this additionally to get any sort of decent information from the email you have to open up the email, which could be considered wasted time if it's something you could ignore straight away from reading the ten words.
CURRENT WORKAROUND
Opening the email in full but as I said this could be considered a waste of time and often people just set them as read and ignore the content.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION
In the email options for each user have a toggle file path feature for email notifications.
This will allow more of the actual email contents to be seen when briefly scrolling through your emails (I get ALOT from Wrike, which I don't mind but others do, and yes I know you can turn them off but I prefer to get all the information ahah).
Thanks for taking the time to read this and God bless
-George
P.S.
Just heard about the potential for lead / lag dependencies, keep up the great work Wrike!
P.P.S. (on an unrelated note)
Looking around to see if this request (or a similar one had been made before, apologies if it has) I discovered this gem which I didn't know was a feature of Wrike... I just thought it;s worth a read, if you're not interested in getting deep into API. Not at all related to this post.
